A Key Specialist That Only Works on Mercedes-Benz
Who we are: a Mercedes-Benz-only key specialist in Atlanta. Our technician, equipment, credentials and why we focus on one brand.
Why only Mercedes-Benz
Mercedes Key Programming works on one brand because Mercedes keys reward focus. Most Atlanta locksmiths cut keys for every car and every front door. We don't.
A Mercedes SmartKey talks to the car's drive authorization system. We make new keys for FBS3 cars, most models from about 2003 to 2014, with a working key or with every key lost, and we read, repair or replace their ignition modules (EIS).
FBS4 cars, most from about 2015 on, work differently: as a NASTF registered Vehicle Security Professional, we order a factory key for your VIN and bring it to you. It takes longer, and you hear the wait on the phone. You can check your model and year before you call.
When every car you see is a Mercedes, you stop guessing. You know which keys can be done on the spot, which ones need a factory key and a few days, and when a warranty makes the dealer the better deal.
That's the whole idea. One brand, done every day, across Metro Atlanta.
Your technician
Your technician comes to the car, so here's what to expect once we arrive:
- First, your photo ID gets checked against the registration or title. No match, no key. That rule protects you too.
- The technician reads the car and confirms the key system before cutting anything.
- You hear the phone price again. If something's different, it's said before any work starts.
- The key gets cut and programmed, then we test every function with you: unlock, lock, trunk and start.
- On FBS3 cars, if a key was lost, we erase it from the car so it can't start it again.
You get an itemized receipt at the end. That's it. Your Mercedes is back on the road.

Licenses and credentials
Georgia doesn't issue a state locksmith license, so we lean on credentials you can check yourself:
- NASTF VSP. We're registered as a Vehicle Security Professional with the National Automotive Service Task Force, which vets who can access manufacturer key data. Here's what NASTF VSP means and how to verify it.
- ALOA. We're members of the Associated Locksmiths of America.
- Insurance. We carry it, and we'll show proof on request.
