The three FBS3 E-Class generations show Yes in the table: the W211 (about 2003 to 2009), the W212 sedan and wagon (about 2010 to 2016) and the W207 coupe and convertible (about 2010 to 2017). We make those keys on the spot. Late W212 and W207 years can be FBS4, so we check the VIN.
CLS owners use this table too. For the W219 and W218 CLS we copy a working key, and when every key is lost it shows Call with your VIN.
The W213 E-Class (about 2017 to 2023) is FBS4 and shows Factory key (NASTF). We order a factory key for your VIN through NASTF, as a registered Vehicle Security Professional, and deliver it. It usually takes one day to a week to arrive.

A key that goes in but won't turn on a W212 or W207 is very often the steering lock (ELV). A new key won't fix that. The lock is repaired or replaced on its own, and we check it separately.
If the car doesn't see the fob, put in a fresh battery first. That's the usual cause, and it's cheap.

Can you make an E-Class key if I lost all keys?
Yes. On a W211, W212 or W207 we make the key where the car is parked in Atlanta. On a W213 we order a factory key for your VIN and bring it to you. Call with the year and VIN, and have a photo ID that matches the registration or title.
Does my E-Class have to be at home for you to make a key?
No. We come to the car: your driveway, an office garage in Midtown or a parking deck in Buckhead. Tell us where it is when you call. If it's in a big deck, give us the level and the nearest elevator so we find it fast.
Will my old E-Class key still work after you program a new one?
Only if you want it to. When we program a new key on a W211, W212 or W207, we can disable the lost one in the ignition module so it won't start your E-Class. If you just misplaced it at home and expect it to turn up, tell us and we'll leave it active.
