These terms apply to the website mbkeyprogramming.com and to the Mercedes-Benz key services that Mercedes Key Programming ("we", "us") provides in Metro Atlanta, Georgia. By using the website or booking a service by phone, you agree to them.

Our services

We make, copy and program keys for Mercedes-Benz vehicles, and diagnose and repair related ignition (EIS) and steering lock (ELV) problems. For some newer vehicles we order a factory key for your VIN and deliver it. Which option applies depends on your vehicle, and we confirm it with your VIN before any work.

Quotes and prices

• We give you a price on the phone before we drive out. Prices on the website are starting prices; the final price depends on the model, the year, the key system and whether you still have a working key.
• If something on site changes the job, we tell you the new price before we continue. You decide whether to go ahead.
• Factory keys ordered for your VIN take longer than keys we make on site. We give you an estimated time when you order, but delivery times depend on the supplier.

Proof of ownership

We only make keys for vehicles you are entitled to use. You must show a photo ID that matches the vehicle registration or title, or other proof we accept. We can refuse a job if ownership can't be confirmed.

Your vehicle and the job

• Please give us accurate information about the vehicle and what happened. A wrong year, model or VIN can change the price and the time needed.
• Some problems, such as a failing steering lock, can't be fixed by a new key alone. We explain what we find before doing extra work.
• Keys bought online or used keys often can't be programmed to your car. We are not responsible for parts you buy elsewhere.

Payment

Payment is due when the job is done, or as agreed on the phone for factory keys that must be ordered.

Limitation of liability

We do our work with care and use professional equipment. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for pre-existing faults in the vehicle's electronics that we didn't cause. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under Georgia law that can't be limited.
