The W166 ML and GLE (about 2012 to 2019), the X164 GL (about 2007 to 2012) and the X166 GL and GLS (about 2013 to 2019) are FBS3 for most years. We copy a working key on site. When every key is lost the table shows Call with your VIN, because late W166 and X166 years can be FBS4.
From about 2020, the W167 GLE is FBS4 and shows Factory key (NASTF). We order a factory key for your VIN through NASTF and bring it to you. It usually takes one day to a week to arrive, and the SUV stays where it is.

Fob stopped working? Battery first, it's the usual cause. On an ML with a key slot, a key that won't turn can point to the ignition module (EIS). We read it through the OBD port, or take it out and work on it on the bench when the SUV won't talk that way.

Can you replace a lost key on a 2019 Mercedes GLE in Atlanta?
